# Turn a parsed file into a session document

POST https://api.cloudraker.com/workspace/sessions/{sessionId}/documents
Content-Type: application/json

Takes a `.docx` or PDF the session can read and files its parsed markdown as a `text/markdown` artifact — the working form every agent and the editor share. Word comments arrive as CriticMarkup (`{>> @author: … <<}`). While the file is still being parsed this answers 409 `artifact_not_ready`; retry. **Authorization:** the same gate as every session route — `work_session:read` (or `comment` to write) on the session, OR `space:contribute` on one of its linked spaces; a desk session only for its owner. Any denial is 404.
