# Create a space type

POST https://api.cloudraker.com/space-types
Content-Type: application/json

Creates a space type at the organization root. Authorization: organization administrators only — other callers get 403. Body: `title` (1–120 chars) and `identifier`, a lowercase slug (starts with a letter, then letters/digits/hyphens, no trailing hyphen, 2–40 chars). The identifier is the permanent key and cannot be reused — a duplicate returns 409 `identifier_taken`.

  - `identifier` (string, required) — The stable lowercase key.
  - `title` (string, required)

  - `updatedAt` (datetime, required)
  - `createdBy` (string, optional) — User id of the creator.
  - `ontology` (object, optional) — Per-space-type extraction configuration, applied to future ingests.
    - `prompt` (string, optional) — Freeform guidance appended to the extraction instructions.
    - `entities` (list of object, optional) — Allowed entity types. When non-empty this list REPLACES the built-in types; extracted entities are validated against these keys.
      - `key` (string, required)
      - `description` (string, optional)
    - `includeDateTime` (boolean, optional) — Include the current date and time during extraction.
