RakeSign

Prepare, send, and track signature requests with your team.
View as Markdown

RakeSign brings document preparation, signature delivery, and tracking into one workspace. The RakeSign API uses the same documents, templates, and signing workflow.

Send a document

  1. Select New document or use a saved template.
  2. Add your document and fill in its details.
  3. Add recipients on People & order. Choose signing or approval stages.
  4. Choose signature placement and review the PDF.
  5. Review delivery settings, then select Send.

RakeSign emails each eligible recipient a signing invitation. The document shows each recipient’s progress and the completed PDF. Use the activity record to review what happened.

Placement puts each signature on a signature page, on a marker already in the document, or on a field you position yourself. Read signing markers for the marker forms and the space each one needs.

Share with a team

Each document has a team and a privacy setting. Team documents are available to team members and participants. Documents restricted to participants remain private, including from integration keys.

API integrations use a specific team. Documents created through the API appear in that team’s RakeSign workspace. The document details show the API origin and integration name.

Reuse templates

Save a template to reuse its document, recipient roles, and delivery settings. Using a template creates a separate draft. Changes to that draft do not update the saved template.

Use standing delegation

Standing delegation lets your organization apply a signer’s approved signature after that signer gives consent. Consent applies to one saved template revision. The signer verifies their email and accepts the consent request before RakeSign can use the grant.

Create a document from a saved template, then select Use standing delegation on People & order. This mode supports one stage where every recipient signs. It supports page or tag placement.

Organization administrators manage requests and evidence under Delegations. Read standing delegation for eligibility, revocation, and renewal rules.
